Both the Town of Kirkland and the Village of Clinton in Oneida County, New York, have adopted the New York State Climate Smart Communities pledge.
The CSC Task Force, made up of volunteers, with Stephen Orvis as Coordinator, advises and helps in carrying out the various actions for climate mitigation and adaptation. The Task Force is also a member of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce.
The Village’s contact for the CSC program is Trustee Joanne Gilles. The Town’s contact is Deputy Supervisor Garry Colarusso with a secondary contact of Kathryn Arcuri, the Supervisor’s Secretary. You may contact the task force directly at ClintonKirklandCSCTaskForce@gmail.com.
During the summer of 2021, we had a table at many of the Thursday Clinton Farmers Market days on the village green.
